SAE 100R1 is a specification defined by the SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers) for hydraulic hoses.

It’s part of the SAE J517 standard series, which classifies hydraulic hoses according to their construction, working pressure, and performance.

It defines single steel wire braid reinforced hydraulic hoses designed for high-pressure hydraulic oil lines.

The main features of SAE 100R1 hydraulic hose standard is below:

One layer of steel wire reinforced, rubber coated;
Deliver petroleum & water based fluids;
Temperature range -40 to +212 ℉；
Hose diameter 3/16 to 2 inch;
Operating pressure 575 to 3,250 psi;
